A Time To Be Grateful

It’s not a surprise that we are living in a crazy world these days. There’s much unrest and little gratitude spreading around our fellow man amidst all the headlines of political drama, global inflation, the coronavirus, the war in Ukraine and natural disasters. While it’s easy to be distracted by all this noise, it’s important to take a step back and acknowledge the many things we have to be thankful for.

Family

Family probably tops the list for many of us - especially in my case - because I lost my father in July. However, in this season, I am reminded of how much family means to me and of the importance of surrounding yourself with people who know you, love you, and support you.

Friends

We currently live in a virtual culture where many people change jobs and locations regularly, which can make it difficult to develop and maintain friendships. But no matter how busy we are or what life changes come our way, friendships are vital to our well-being. I am incredibly grateful for the community that surrounds me, and I am privileged to count many of my clients as my friends as well.

Good Health

This is something I don’t take for granted. Good health helps us live a high-quality life and gives us the ability to give our time and energy to others. Despite a stressful year taking care of my dad, I still feel blessed to have maintained a pretty good health regimen. I pray that you and I continue to eat better and exercise more so we all can spend more quality time together.
